He shot one during an argument and then shot a father who came to help.

The illegal immigrant was reportedly harassing people standing at a taco truck outside of the convenience store in north Houston. Deluna got into a heated altercation with someone which led him to go to his vehicle and retrieve his gun.
After Deluna shot the man he was arguing with, the store owner’s son, Rahman Rupani, came outside to help the victim when Deluna opened fire on him too. Rupani died after he was shot in the collarbone and in the back.
Deluna has had several run-ins with law enforcement. He was serving a four-year probation sentence for felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle during the shooting. Deluna also had a previous felony conviction in 2015 for making terroristic threats.
The Deluna family is riddled with violent criminals.
Deluna’s brother, Eric Deluna, was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2005. Eric was also convicted of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in 2011.
Now Eric is currently serving a 30-year sentence after he tried to hijack an 18-wheeler full of drugs. The failed heist claimed the life of an FBI informant and wounded a Harris County Sherriff’s Deputy when a shootout broke out.
Deluna’s father, Manuel Deluna, another illegal immigrant, just got out of prison last October. Manuel served only four months of a two-year sentence after assaulting his wife and daughter. Before his arrest could be made in this instance he barricaded himself in and hosted a standoff with the local SWAT team.
Deluna is a recipient of protections granted under Obama’s executive order known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). President Trump’s administration attempted to end the program, however, a liberal judge has obstructed President Trump’s efforts, at least until a Supreme Court hearing on the matter is concluded.
The media often portray DACA recipients as children who are a boon to our community. It is often falsely reported that they are less likely to commit crime than Americans. In reality, DACA recipients present no objective value to the United States as a population.
There are studies which show that illegal immigrants, including those granted DACA protections, have a higher propensity to commit a crime.
The Crime Prevention Research Center recently released a report after studying Arizona prison records from 1985 to 2017 that concluded illegal immigrants are 142 percent more likely to be convicted of a crime than the average citizen of Arizona.
According to the Department of Justice’s quarterly report, one in five inmates currently incarcerated are foreign nationals. Over 90 percent of these foreign nationals were in the country illegally.
About 75 percent of people incarcerated in federal prison for drug offenses are illegal aliens. Illegal aliens also account for approximately 18 percent of federal convictions for drug trafficking.
The criminal propensity of illegal aliens is only one aspect of the detriment they pose to the United States. Illegal aliens are a huge tax burden and economic drain on our nation as well.
According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform, illegal aliens cost the United States $116 billion annually, even after you consider the net sum of their contributions. Granting amnesty to the illegal population who are receiving protections under DACA would drain the country of even more resources.
As a population, illegal immigrants contribute nothing but strife to the United States. This country has given them opportunities which would have never been available to them in their homelands. It is time for them to take these great gifts and repatriate so the United States can heal, and the good ones can give back to their own nations.
Rupani was at the store his father owned helping him run the place. Rupani was not the initial target of this illegal alien “dreamer’s” violent attack, but he was shot in the back by the coward when he stepped in to try and help the first shooting victim.
Because of an illegal alien, Rupani’s two children will now have to grow up without a father. Rupani has left behind a grieving wife who will now face the struggles of being a single mother.
