Holy-Face of Jesus

Antipope Francis Denies Hell (again), Christ’s Divinity (again) and God’s Love For Humanity (again)… Just in Time for the Triduum!

Antipope Francis Denies Hell (again), Christ’s Divinity (again) and God’s Love For Humanity (again)… Just in Time for the Triduum!

Antipope Bergoglio has denied the existence of hell and preached the lie of soul annihilation before today.  But consider the spite that he has to have for Jesus Christ and His Holy Church to make sure that this latest salvo gets published just as the Triduum begins.  Top headline on Drudge for HOURS.

Folks, it really is important to understand that when I say how truly malignant and spiteful these people are, and desperately try to inform as many people as I can that these people LITERALLY HATE GOD, and thus are in a state of WAR AGAINST HIM AND HIS HOLY CHURCH, AND THUS EVERY HUMAN BEING BY EXTENSION, I’m not engaging in hyperbole.  I’m dead, dead serious.

The next thing to remember in all of this is that Antipope Bergoglio is not an Antipope because he is an arch-heretic.  Antipope Bergoglio is not now and never has been the Pope because of Pope Benedict XVI’s INVALID RESIGNATION, made in the SUBSTANTIALLY ERRONEOUS belief that Pope Benedict could fundamentally transform the papacy by bifurcating and expanding the Petrine Office into a “synodal, collegial” office, containing both “active” and “contemplative” participants.  Wrong.  And thus per Canon 188, Pope Benedict never ceased being the Pope, BY THE LAW ITSELF, and is the one and only living Pope to this day.

Antipope Bergoglio’s heresy is a CONFIRMING DATASET, but it is NOT germane to the question of Pope Benedict’s invalid attempted abdication, which predated the Bergoglian Antipapacy by fully two weeks.  ANTIPOPE BERGOGLIO CAN’T BE DEPOSED, BECAUSE HE DOES NOT OCCUPY THE PETRINE SEE.  Only a person who is validly occupying a given office can be deposed from said office.  They only path forward IN TRUTH is that Antipope Bergoglio be PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGED AS AN ANTIPOPE, AND SENT PACKING ACCORDINGLY. If this is done while Pope Benedict XVI is still living, NO CONCLAVE CAN BE CALLED, BECAUSE IF POPE BENEDICT IS ALIVE, AND HAS NOT VALIDLY RESIGNED, THEN THE SEE IS OCCUPIED, AND IT IS THEREFORE ONTOLOGICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO ELECT A POPE – ONLY ANOTHER ANTIPOPE.
Next, given that we know that Antipope Bergoglio is an Antipope and arch-heretic, and also doing pretty much everything one could expect the Anti-John the Baptist, aka False Prophet Forerunner of the Antichrist, to do, what we should do is take his vile heresy and actually use it as a point of departure for examining ourselves.  In particular, we need to all do some serious soul-searching on the question of if WE believe in hell.  Do we secretly harbor in the deep, or even not-so-deep corners of our minds the belief that the worst that can possibly happen to anyone is “lights out”?  Do we not realize that these whispers and assumptions of soul annihilation are the Serpent in the Garden whispering, “No, you shall not die the death….” Do we deny the existence of hell in order to acquire or maintain HUMAN RESPECT? Do we stay silent on hell in order to maintain earthly relationships and avoid all possibility of “uncomfortable conversations”?

Further, the existence of hell and eternal damnation is a proofset of God’s love and RESPECT for us.  If God didn’t really love us, if He didn’t respect us AS RATIONAL INTELLECTS that are free to choose our actions, then soul annihilation is EXACTLY what He would do.  The fact is that the “god” Antipope Bergoglio is describing is a being DEVOID OF LOVE, who has less than zero respect for humanity.  Antipope Bergoglio is trying to convince the world that satan is God, and that satan in his “mercy” will just snuff you out of existence if “things don’t work out”.  No harm, no foul.
If God just started snuffing beings out of existence when they made a choice that wasn’t in accord with His will, wouldn’t that cheapen all life and existence to the point of meaninglessness? Wouldn’t all rational beings just be mere object-playthings at that point? Yep.

Love means putting up with the periodic insufferable behavior of the beloved. Most ESPECIALLY for God.  The corollary to this is the following fact:  No matter what you do, you will always, always, always exist.  God loved you into existence, and loves you because you exist, and will never stop loving you, and will never, ever snuff you out of existence, no matter what.  If you reject Him, that is your free choice, but understand, you will continue to exist FOREVER after you have rejected God.  Every one of us will exist and exist forever – either in Heaven (inside of the Trinity, the Beatific Vision), or completely cut off from Him.  F.O.R.E.V.E.R.  That’s hell.  There is no “snuffed out of existence feeling neither happiness nor pain” option.  So disabuse yourself of that lie right now.
Finally, remember that Antipope Bergoglio’s denials of hell are also by ONE LOGICAL STEP a denial of the Divinity of Christ.  Our Lord spoke early and often of hell and eternal damnation in the Gospels. If there is no hell, then Christ was either mistaken or a liar.  Either way, according to Antipope Bergoglio, Jesus Christ is NOT God.  And thus, if Jesus is not God, then we are not saved, and The Church is an ontological joke and needs to be removed from the face of the earth. Or, perhaps REPLACED…. After all, it would be a shame to not keep all of that real estate, fundraising capability and political power under one roof.
As the Passion of Christ’s Holy Church plays out before our very eyes, here is the Responsory after the Ninth Lesson (third Nocturn of Matins) in tonight’s Office of Tenebrae.
Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
Lord Jesus Christ, Man of Sorrows, have mercy on us.
Latin Lyrics:
Caligaverunt oculi mei a fletu meo,
Quia elongatus est a me,
Qui consolabatur me.
Videte, omnes populi,
Si est dolor similis sicut dolor meus.
O vos omnes, qui transitis per viam,
Attendite et videte,
Si est dolor similis sicut dolor meus.
My eyes are blinded from My tears,
Because far from Me is,
Anyone who will comfort Me.
See, all ye people,
If there be any sorrow like unto My sorrow.
O, all ye who pass by the road,
Stop and see,
If there be any sorrow like unto My sorrow.

Good Friday Meditation: Jesus, Priest of His Own Victimhood and Victim of His Own Priesthood

Written by  Fr. Urban Snyder

Men who have a strong tendency to be this way are likely to have difficulty also with the mystery of the Incarnation. Their hearts find it intolerable that an Infinite God should so love the world as to give His only-begotten Son to die in torments for love of us. You understand that what makes this intolerable is the implied obligation of making a like return of love; of putting off the “old Adam” and conforming oneself to Christ the new Adam.

If only Jesus Christ had been born as a sinner like the rest of us, that would be fine! No difficulty there, because then He would not be asking us to rise above our own miserable level, to struggle out of the mire, to get washed and cleaned up, and put on a “wedding garment”. Your modernists find such a Christ quite acceptable. That’s why they make Him out to have actually been, historically, just like us in all things, not excepting ignorance, concupiscence and sin. They can “love” such a Christ after their fashion, because he would allow them to keep their sins, and that is what matters. How like the Gerascenes, who said to the real Christ after He drove a legion of devils out of one of their possessed citizens: “Please go away, and leave us our swine and our devils!”

During the first several centuries of the Christian era, all the possible errors against the mystery of the Incarnation were thought up, flourished for a time, and received formal condemnation from the universal Church. Today the modernists come along with a sort of package-deal of these old errors and sell them to the unwary (especially our young people) as “new insights”, and “ongoing revelation”. Revelation from the devil! The revival of these heresies, now spread everywhere by priest and teachers under the tolerant eyes of spineless bishops, makes it virtually impossible for their victims, ignorant of the Scriptures as they are (or poisoned by false versions) to grasp the ineffable depth and beauty of the Incarnation, the Redemption, the holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Their teachers deprive them on the one hand of sound education in the fundamental truths of who God is, who we are, and who Jesus Christ is, while on the other hand the victims (especially the young) succumb all too easily to the seduction of blasphemous (not to mention immoral) songs and entertainments, gravely offensive to God and His most holy Mother. Worse, these same songs and entertainments are sometimes performed in the church, notably around Good Friday, the day Christ died for us. Given such circumstances, true shepherds of souls must repeat and explain the divine mysteries over and over, and from every angle.

When the Church teaches that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, she means that in Him there is only one Person, the Person of God’s only-begotten Son, “born of the Father before all ages: God of God, light of light, true God of true God; begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father: by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from Heaven…” It is this Person, this eternal Son of the eternal Father who, at the time foretold by the prophets, assumed a true human nature, conceived miraculously in the bosom of the Immaculate Virgin Mary by the over-shadowing of the Holy Spirit. Note that what He took was human nature. No new person was created – only a perfect, real, ideal human nature: a flawless body (in which flowed the blood of Adam, Abraham and David, from whom His Mother was descended), and a human soul with its proper created faculties of intellect and free will.

It is impossible to stress too much the fact that the Holy Spirit did not create for Jesus a human personality.Instead the eternal Son of God so joined a perfect human nature to Himself (in what is called the Hypostatic Union) that He, the Eternal, is the “I”, the only I, to whom it belongs. The function of nature is simply to live, the function of personality is to own. In Jesus, then, there is one Person, but with two natures, the divine and the human, the eternal and the created.

No author I have read can explain this better than Abbot Amscar Vonier,OSB: “In Christ there is no human personality, but…the human personality in Him has been ‘replaced’ by divine Personality. The great struggles of orthodoxy against Nestorianism resulted in the adoption of this formula by the Church. Christ is a human individual nature, but without a human personality; in Him the divine Personality of the Word performs the functions of the human personality…

“The missing…element, finite personality, is not elevated or glorified by the Holy Ghost; it is directly ‘replaced’ by a reality of the same order but of infinite superiority, the Personality of the Word…

“Nothing short of this substitution of divine Personality for created personality will do justice to the traditional view of Christ, the Son of God. I make so bold as to say that Hypostatic Union, thus stated with theological exactness, is indeed worthy of the admiration of the keenest intellect. The whole difficulty resolves itself into this question: Is it possible for Infinite Personality to perform the function of finite personality in an individual created nature? It is in this, and in no other sense, that God is said to become man…” (The Personality of Christ (1914), Ch. VI).

In a later chapter (VIII) Vonier quotes St. Thomas as follows: “Although the human nature in Christ be something new, nevertheless the personality (suppositum) of that human nature is not new, but eternal. And because this name God is predicated of the man Christ not in virtue of the human nature, but in virtue of the personality, it does not follow that we introduce a new God. But such a consequence would follow, if the man in Christ had a created personality, as those who put two persons in Christ (the Nestorians) are compelled to assert.” Vonier then remarks: “Before Abraham was made, Christ is, because eternal Personality takes the place of created personality. The reality represented by ‘is’ belongs to personality. Christ has eternal Personality, therefore He is eternally.”

Since the Person who possesses and acts in the human nature of Jesus Christ is divine, it follows that His entire human nature is anointed, as it were, with the divinity, by reason of its intimate union with His person. It is His, God’s, and therefore adorable, as the Church has always understood. Abbot Vonier gives the text of profession of faith drawn up by the Council of Alexandria (430A.D.), under the presidency of St. Cyril. This text shows how definite were the convictions of early Christians concerning Christ’s divinity. I cite only part of the profession reported by Vonier (Ch. IX): “We receive (the flesh of Christ) not as a common flesh, nor as the flesh of an eminently sanctified man, or of one who has received dignity by being united with the Logos or by divine indwelling, but as the true life-giving and proper flesh of the Word. For since He is – as God is – in His known nature Life, and is become One with His own flesh, so has He imparted to this flesh a life-giving power.”

“Actions belong to the person”, as the philosophers say, so it follows that every word or act of Our Divine Lord on earth was theandric, i.e., the word or act of a divine Person. It was to be attributed to God, and therefore was of infinite dignity and merit: a single tear or sigh of the Savior would have sufficed to redeem the human race. Further, since every word or work of Jesus was divine and inspired by infinite Wisdom, it was a sermon for us. He is the perfect Model for all men of all time. To imitate Him, to live by His counsels, is divine wisdom. “I (in My own Person) am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through me. If you had known me, you would also have known my Father.” The eternal Word does not need human words in order to teach and to preach. His whole life on earth, from beginning to end, was a continual revelation of God.

If you read the Gospels attentively, however, you will see that when He does speak (in words), He sometimes does so as the eternal Word in the bosom of the Father, and sometimes as God-made-Man. When He said to the Jews, “Before Abraham was made, I am,” He clearly referred to His existence in the Trinity from all eternity; and He also knew that the Jews would understand the expression “I am” (in the way He used it) in its Biblical sense as a name of God. On the other hand, in moments like that of the supreme desolation which He voluntarily allowed His humanity to experience in Gethsemane or on the Cross, He clearly spoke from the viewpoint of His human nature: “Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me; yet not as I will, but as thou willest.” “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me!”

Every year in the Gospel we hear how Jesus was “transfigured” on a mountain in the presence of Peter, James and John. “His face shone as the sun, and his garments became white as snow…” This startling event was not a miracle but the suspension of a standing miracle. From the first instant of the creation of His human soul, the Savior’s intellect enjoyed the Beatific Vision, i.e., it saw God face to face more wonderfully than do the saints in Heaven. The effects of this should normally have overflowed into His Body, rendering it luminous and incapable of suffering. But since He came to be our Model, and to Redeem us through suffering, He willed to withhold from His created nature that exemption from suffering which normally would be the effect of the Beatific Vision. Father Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P., writes lucidly about this:

“Even during His Passion (Jesus) did not lose the Beatific Vision, but feely prevented the irradiation of the light of glory upon His lower reason and sense faculties. He did not wish this light and the joy proceeding from it to lessen in any way…the sorrow invading Him from all sides. He completely yielded Himself up to suffering, so that the holocaust might be perfect….(Note: Interested reader will find this explained eloquently also in Cardinal Newman’s Discourses to Mixed Congregations. No. XVI.)\

“What did Jesus’ human intelligence contemplate under the light of Glory? The Divine essence, the Blessed Trinity, which He already knew in a more perfect manner than did the angels…He also contemplated in the divine essence everything that related to His universal mission as Head of the Kingdom of God, Leader of men and of angels, Judge of the living and the dead. That is to say that in God He already knew all creatures, all souls, all that they have done, are doing and will do…

“Our Lord willed to experience all the sufferings of body and soul which were fitting to His mission as Redeemer and Victim. He chose to go through all our trials, to go to the utmost limits of sacrifice in order to expiate our sins and merit eternal life for us by leaving us the example of the loftiest virtues amid the greatest adversity.

He was a victim in His Body: His garments were torn off Him, He was mocked, struck, scourged, until His Body was one vast wound; He was crowned with thorns and spat upon…He was nailed to a cross between two thieves. He was given gall to drink, and He was sneered at as He hung, dying.

“He was a victim in His Heart. The affection of His people was taken from Him, this people who eight days earlier…acclaimed Him with …’Hosanna, son of David!…

“He was a victim in His innermost Soul, for He suffered most intensely from the sight of sin, from the numberless sins He was to expiate, form the deicide…committed through pride and voluntary blindness…He suffered from sin to a degree that we cannot begin to understand; in the measure of His love for God whom sin offends, in the measure of His love for our souls…(Note that by reason of His foreknowledge, the Sacred Heart of Jesus suffered something additional, special, for each sin of mine. Every fully deliberate sin makes a notable contribution to His Passion. The Redemption was intensely personal for each one of us, as we shall see in the Judgment.)

“Jesus could not have been more completely a victim. There could be no more absolute immolation…

“It is in this weakness and this annihilation that the power of the Lord is manifest in its fullness. Jesus was indeed a victim. But He was also a priest, and the oblation of Himself which He offered up was of infinite value. As St. Paul says, “The weakness of God (in Christ) is stronger than men…But the foolish things of the world has God chosen, that He may confound the wise; and the weak things of the world has God chosen, that He may confound the strong…that no flesh should glory in his sight….” (Taken from the Savior and His Love (1951), pp. 168-9; 280-287)

Remnant To Make Pilgrimage to Tours, France, to Help Revive Crucial Holy Face Devotion

Editor’s Note: Remnant Tours will travel through France after the 2018 Chartres Pentecost Pilgrimage, and will wrap up with two nights in Fatima. En route, the pilgrims–led by Father Gregory Pendergraft, Dr. John Rao, Christopher Ferrara and yours truly–will visit Tours, France, which is birthplace of the well-known Catholic devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.

Here during the 1840s, a young Carmelite nun called Sister Marie of St. Peter, received a series of revelations from Our Lord about a powerful devotion He wished to establish worldwide – the devotion to His Holy Face.

The express purpose of this devotion was to make reparation for the blasphemies and outrages of ‘Revolutionary men’ (the Communists) and atheists, as well as for the profanation of Sundays by Christians.  This devotion is also an instrument given to the individual devotee as a seemingly unfailing method of appealing to God in prayer – through adoration of His Holy Face and Name.

Though this devotion was elevated and promoted by Popes Leo XIII, Pius IX and St. Pius X, it began to wane in popularity after World War I.  We’re intensely interested in doing our part to help bring it back, and so we will visit Sister Marie’s convent and grave in Tours, where our chaplain will offer several sessions on the importance of this devotion, especially in these times of sacrilege and indifference to the Holy Name and Holy Face.

There are still 5 seats left on this year’s pilgrimage to France and Portugal. So contact us today if you’re interested in joining us: or click on the banner below. MJM

Sr. Marie was born in Rennes, Brittany on October 4, 1816. She was rather sickly as child and not at all pious. In fact, she describes herself as stubborn and easily roused to anger. After making her first confession at the age of six, she began to seriously work on overcoming herself and about this same time, her parents instilled into her a devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin. After making her First Communion at the age of ten, she progressed most rapidly in virtue, to the amazement of all those who knew her. She received many graces in prayer and began to understand that Our Lord was calling her to consecrate herself to Him. With the direction of a wise and holy confessor who tried her in virtue for 5 years and prepared her for the religious life, she finally entered the Carmelite Monastery in Tours, France.

As a novice, she continued receiving extraordinary favors in prayer. She submitted all of these interior communications of Our Lord to her Superiors and waited upon their consent before she could offer herself completely to Our Lord as He had been asking. Once permission was obtained, Our Lord began revealing to her this great project of establishing the Work of Reparation.

From 1844 to 1847, Sister Marie of St. Peter reported that she had visions of Jesus and Mary. She reported that in her vision, she saw Saint Veronica wiping away the spit and mud from the face of Jesus with her veil on the way to Calvary. She said that sacrilegious and blasphemous acts of today added to the spit and mud that Saint Veronica wiped away in that moment. She said that she had a vision in which Jesus told her: “Those who will contemplate the wounds on My Face here on earth, shall contemplate it radiant in heaven.”

Our Lord told Sr. Marie however, that the devotion He was entrusting to her was to have as its aim not only reparation for blasphemy, but also reparation for the profanation of the Holy Day of the Lord, both enormous sins, arousing the anger of God.
Sr. Marie related one of the visions:

Our Lord said, “My name is everywhere blasphemed!” …He then made me see that this frightful sin wounds His divine Heart more grievously than all other sins, showing me how by blasphemy the sinner curses Him to His Face, attacks Him publicly, nullifies his redemption, and pronounces his own judgment and condemnation. Our Lord then made me visualize the act of blasphemy as a poisoned arrow continually wounding His divine Heart. After that He revealed to me that He wanted to give me a ‘Golden Arrow’ which would have the power of wounding Him delightfully, and which would also heal those other wounds inflicted by the malice of sinners.” (August 26, 1843)

After that, our Savior dictated the following prayer, which he called “The Golden Arrow”, saying that those who would recite this prayer would pierce Him delightfully, and also heal those other wounds inflicted on Him by the malice of sinners.  This prayer is regarded as the very basis of the Work of Reparation.

    Prayer of Reparation:

May the most Holy, most Sacred, most Adorable,
Most Incomprehensible and Ineffable Name of God
Be always Praised, Blessed, Loved, Adored and Glorified,
In Heaven, on Earth and in Hell,
By all the Creatures of God,
And by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
In the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

“I give you My Name to be your light in the darkness and your strength in battle. Satan will do all in his power to crush this Work at its roots. But I assure you that the Holy Name of God will triumph, and it will be the Holy Angels who will gain the victory in the conflict.” (Our Lord to Sr. Mary of St. Peter Nov. 18, 1843)

Meditation upon the Holy Face of Jesus, as depicted in the Turin Shroud and the Veil of Veronica, forms the basis of the Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. The Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus was approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1885.

Revelations to Sr. Mary of St. Peter, Discalced Carmelite Nun of Tours, France, in favor of those who honor the Holy Face. Details of these revelations are found in the book named The Golden Arrow (the autobiography of Sister Mary of St. Peter)

    1. By offering My Face to My Eternal Father, nothing will be refused, and the conversion of many sinners will be obtained.
    2. By My Holy Face, they will work wonders, appease the anger of God and draw down mercy on sinners.
    3. All those who honor My Face in a spirit of reparation will by so doing perform the office of the pious Veronica.
    4. According to the care they take in making reparation to My Face disfigured by blasphemers, so will I take care of their souls which have been disfigured by sin. My Face is the Seal of the Divinity, which has the virtue of reproducing in souls the image of God.
    5. Those who by words, prayers or writings defend My cause in the Work of Reparation, especially My priests, I will defend before My Father, and will give them My Kingdom.
    6. As in a kingdom they can procure all that is desired with a coin stamped with the King’s effigy, so in the Kingdom of Heaven they will obtain all they desire with the precious coin of My Holy Face.
    7. Those who on earth contemplate the wounds of My Face shall in Heaven behold it radiant with glory.
    8. They will receive in their souls a bright and constant irradiation of My Divinity, that by their likeness to My Face they shall shine with particular splendor in Heaven.
    9. 1 will defend them, I will preserve them and I assure them of Final Perseverance.

A Brief Timeline of Events Relating to the Holy Face and Holy Face Devotion

~33 AD: Veronica wipes Our Lord’s face with her veil and an image of His Holy Face miraculously appears on the veil. Veronica later passes the relic of the veil to Clement I (3rd successor of St. Peter). The relic of the veil was kept in catacombs for the next 3 centuries during persecutions of the Church. After that time, Holy Veil was placed in the church that was constructed over the tomb of St. Peter (later to become the Basilica of St. Peter). The Holy Veil has since been kept intact throughout the centuries.

1843-1847: Sister Mary of St. Peter, a Carmelite nun in Tours France experiences a series of revelations from Our Lord about a powerful devotion He wished to be established worldwide – the devotion to His Holy Face.

1848: Sister Mary of St. Peter passes away in the odor of sanctity on July 8. Just before her death she was able to relay the details of her 5 years of revelations to the local bishop in Tours, France. She was also able to share the information with a friend named Leo Dupont, a retired lawyer in Tours, France.

1849: Shortly after the death of Sister Mary of St. Peter, Pope Pius IX ordered public prayers be offered in all churches in Rome to implore God’s mercy on the Papal States due to revolution occurring at the time. As part of these public prayers, a three-day exposition of the relic of Veronica’s veil was held for public veneration at St. Peter’s Basilica. On the third day of the showing, January 6, 1849, a miracle occurred through which Our Lord’s face on the veil became very distinct and glowed with a soft light. The Canons of the Basilica ordered the bells rung at sight of the miracle, which attracted crowds of people. The miracle lasted for three hours, was attested to by an apostolic notary during the incident, and was documented in the daybook of the Vatican Basilica.

1885: While devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus has always existed in some form or another, these revelations and miraculous occurrences lead to this special devotion being established by Pope Leo XIII as an Archconfraternity; and contrary to custom, He immediately established it for the ENTIRE WORLD. This was confirmed in the following people briefs:

First Papal Brief (December 16, 1884)
Second Papal Brief (April 22nd, 1885)
Third Papal Brief (October 1, 1885)
Indulgences Granted by Pope Leo XIII

1885-1897: It was a well-known fact the St. Therese of Lisieux and her family registered as members of the Arch confraternity of Reparation to the Holy Face at Tours France and that St. Therese herself was so devoted to this that she added the title to her name at the time she took the habit. This is why we often see St. Therese referred to as St. Therese of the Holy Face.

1910: On April 27, 1910, Pope Saint Pius X approves the Feast of the Image of the Holy Face, with Rite of greater Double in the Third Feria, after the Sunday of Quinquagesima (Shrove Tuesday) for the diocese of Cambrai, France.

Today: Unfortunately, the Holy Face devotion is largely forgotten. In the revelations to Sister Mary of St. Peter, Our Lord was very specific in stating the extreme importance of this devotion for making reparation to God, for holding back the justice of God during the evils of our day, and for obtaining the resolution to problems in our families.

“Yes, it is through this august Sacrament that Jesus, our Saviour, desires to impart to souls the rare virtue emanating from is most Holy Face, for indeed there in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar His adorable Face is more dazzling than the sun. He then once more promised me to imprint His Divine likeness upon the souls of those who honor the features of His Face.”

Thank you. To replace the countless negative images put into our minds by the culture, media or our own passions with the Holy Face is no doubt an important idea, one worth spreading.

Thank you for promoting this devotion.
Not enough time to properly express the many graces this devotion has brought to my life and to the lives of my loved ones. IT was during a difficult moment, that I came upon the Holy Face of Christ. I stil do keep His Face close, and sometimes just sit in silence in gazing. My faith at that time, was not strong enough to deal with that difficult moment, but it was His Face that gave to me, the graces I desperately needed to trust Him more completely and His love and mercy for me, so that I may respond as He desired.
